It’s the last day of 2009 – how did that happen exactly?!!

Not only is today New Years Eve, it’s also a full moon and if you remember, last month I started the Sassy Minx mood board club, right now I think I’m the only member, but basically, each full moon you create a mood board filled with all the things you’d like to evoke in your world o’ fabulousity for the month ahead, and because tonight’s full moon is a blue moon, it means whatever you create today will be mondo beyondo powerful – I’m putting on a playlist of tunes that includes both Doris Day and Lady Gaga and I’m going to be a cut and paste queen…

But before we all go reach for the scissors – how was 2009 for you? I think it was a tough one for lots of people and I know I spent most of it learning lessons – not always nice ones, taking responsibility for my actions and trying to remember how to be positive – I had to re-read my own book Think Pink at least 4 times to remind myself how to actually do it…Jeez.

Anyway, I have it on good authority that 2010 is going to be kick-ass x 10000 – wohhooo!
Except, it can only happen if you release all your toxic, icky, negative thoughts and feelings and tonight’s New Year’s Eve blue moon is a perfect time to tell the cosmoverse what you want to let go of and what you intend to let in this year.

The things I’m gonna banish to a town called yesterday, never to be seen again in 2010 are…

    * Turning down invitations – I get invited to a lot of places, I know, aren’t I lucky? Except a lot of the time I don’t accept, and while it’s totes cool to say ‘no’, I sometimes say it because I’m a li’l bit lazy and think not going will be a whole lot easier than actually going…Now, I’m not going to turn into Jim Carey in the Yes Man but I do plan on banishing my lazy, sofa-loving self and being open to lots of fun, adventures and opportunities – exciting stuff!

    * Bad thoughts about myself – this year I’ve been a li’l bit poorly, and that’s made me put on a lot of weight, and while I’d think I was fabulous whether I was a size 14 or a size 24, there’s lots of things I can do to be much nicer to myself on a daily basis – starting with re-reading Beauty*licious!

    * Bad thoughts about others – now I don’t know how you feel about astrology, but I’m a total Scorpio, which means that I can be very jealous and can have a real sting in my tail if you cross me. They’re not things I’m proud of, so this year I plan on letting go of all the stupid grudges and anger I’ve felt about people and situations over my lifetime, it’s going to be easier said than done, but life is way to short to be a big ol’ ball of knotty anger stuff, and if you let it all go, you make a whole lot of room that you can fill with pink, love-shaped good stuff – wohhoo!

Things I want to welcome into my star-shaped life o’ fabulousity in 2010 are…

    * Love – not necessarily in the shape of a man-type, but in ALL the shapes and forms that love stuff can happen – a smile in the street, new friends, old friends, sharing a tub o’ ice cream with your bestie at the movies, listening to your Grandpa’s stories about when he was young, hearing an amazing song on your ipod just when you need to, a sunset, a hug, a kiss…

    * Adventures – whether they’re in the city I live or involve getting on a plane, I want adventures. LOTS of adventures.

    * Work – I love that I’m paid to do work that I love, so I’d like many, many more new projects that involve writing books, features and programmes for schools, coaching, creating, meeting fabulous people like your sweet selves, and helping people to live life totally unlimited…

    * Learning – I’m a geek girl. This is fact. So I love to learn, right now I’m taking an astrology class which is ever-so-hard but I really do love to learn so whether it’s life lessons, how to play Miley Cyrus’ The Climb on my gee-tar, or the entire lyrix to New York by JayZ word-for-word I am all about the learning…

You get the idea, right? PLEASE share your mood boards and 2010 banish/let in lists with everyone – once mine is made, I’ll put it live, just as soon as I can find the blimmin’ camera cable – why can’t I just have put it back where I found it?!!

Happy last day of 2009, gorgeous ones!

Miss Aimz rocked it with her fam and I headed to Salzburg, Austria where I indulged in a whole lot o’ Sound o’ Music fabulousness, mistletoe kisses with leather-pant wearing Austrian boys, dee-lish hot chocolate drinking, apres-ski,  apple strudels – it was dee-vine! Will share the Austria love with you via pix as soon as I’ve uploaded them, but now I’m back, I’m prepping for a new decade – wowzers – when did that happen?

I don’t know about you, but I think the colour pink rocks.

I’m obviously going to say that, I have a site called Pink-world, I live in a Pink Palace, I run pink-themed self-esteem workshops and I write books titled Think Pink, but I honestly think that pink is the prettiest, happiest, most fun and love-induced colour in the rainbow, so what I want to know, is why some people are trying to ban it?
