    interview1

I am blogginz crazy and my google reader is positively filled-to-the-brim with sassy minxes doing awesome things online.

Now, I figured it would be simply rude and wrong of me to keep these ladies o’ fabulousness to myself, so let me introduce you to one of my absolute faves, {Luphia loves…}, a sweet-as-sugar blogginz dedicated to all things pretty – this online space is sassification x 1000. Fact.

So, what is {Luphia loves…}? Care to share?
{Luphia loves…} shares my love for art|decor|design|fashion and all things pretty ♥

What 5 tracks would be essential to a {Luphia loves…} soundtrack to life?
    My Heart Will Go On
    Dilemma
    The Voice Within
    The Right Man
Viva la Vida – this is not really related to any life story but I just LOVE the song so much ;)

You have effortless style and a kick-ass ‘tude – what’s your secret?!
Well, thank you. I don’t think I’ve got great style at all, actually the new outfit posts on {Luphia loves…} was a result of a new year resolution to experiment more with different styles rather than just staying in my comfort zone.

My style tend to be quite feminine, I just can’t carry off the fierce look and I suppose my style also reflects my personality. I’d say just wear what you like and think will go well, there are no rules in fashion!

    Who are your style icons?
I don’t really have style icons, but I do love Alexa Cheung’s style & the Olsen’s are so different & interesting.

I always find great style inspirations from girls on the streets too; they are every bit as fabulous as these celebrity style icons.

What are your five must-have beauty items?

I am a firm believer in wearing the minimal makeup that makes you happy. If you’ve got good skin then there is no need for foundation, especially when you’re younger.

Unfortunately I don’t have great skin so I do wear foundation, although I mix it with a foundation primer (a must in my book!) to make it more sheer, great for a natural look.

My daily makeup routine also includes:
    Mascara – I love Max Factor’s masterpiece
Blusher – Mac do some really pretty shades
Eye liner – I tend to go for a more navy shade than black, it’s a softer colour
Concealer – For my dark circles, YSL is great but expensive, I also love Clinique & the Bodyshop ones.

What era would you like to go back and visit and why?

I think it would have to be 18th century France – think Marie Antoinette & all those fabulous big dresses!!

We love to visit new places – can you introduce us to your city? what would be your perfect way to spend a day there? what would you do? Where would you go?
I am not from Bath but have lived here for almost 4 years now while I am at university. It is such a beautiful city, full of history & charm. The city centre is just the perfect size, you can find all the big name high street brands as well as some really pretty boutiques. My favorite ones are Vinegar Hill & Bloomsbury, both on the main shopping street.

There are so many amazing restaurants too, I still haven’t been to all the ones I wanted to try, but my favorite is No.5 Restaurant. The French dishes there are just simply beautiful.

On a sunny day, sitting in the park or by the river is lovely too.

Tell us who inspires you/who you admire and why?

My mum is a huge influence to me; she is strong and has such a kind heart. She’s always taught me to be strong and independent; you can’t rely on anyone but yourself. Maybe that’s why I’m a bit of a feminist?

    What makes you jump-in-the-air happy?

Hanging with friends makes me the happiest but Jump-in-the-air happy would be winning the lottery? If only!

    What’s your life motto?
Be happy & do the best I can in everything I do.

    Shop: Topshop
    Book: Time Traveler’s Wife
Website/blog: Can I say my own? Lol, hope it’s not cheating ;)
Hang-out: Starbucks – I’m addicted to their Latte & cakes!
    City: Paris

    What’s next in the world o’ {Luphia loves…}?
On a personal note I will be graduating from my Maths degree this summer! I’m not planning on getting a job next but to continue down the education road with a Masters in Finance. I am quite sad to leave Bath as I adore this city!! It won’t be too bad as I’ll either end up in Cambridge, Exeter or York & all these places are quite pretty.

I’m hoping to continue filling my blog with pretty things that inspires me while regularly dreaming I am doing a design degree instead ;)
