In 2010 I have decided that it would serve me far better than 09 if I said NO to cigarettes, procrastination and fear. I will be saying YES to further study, moving to Santorini (or atleast trying to) and loving more freely. Life is too short to be unhealthy and unloved and WAY too short to live in suburbia when the shores of the beautiful Greek Isles wait.

My YES’s for 2010…
Luxury Buys – I’ll save for pieces i can give to my kids
Ethical Shopping for Fashion & Food – who made that £5 Primarni bargain? & did you know EU pigs are still raised in cages they cant turn around in? Shame on you, Danish!
Customising – fashion cuts back on detailing so im doing it myself! (also love Markus but £250 for some sequins, kidding right?)
Saving – yawn but sensible
Reading – for more than 2 weeks during summer vactions!
And finally … Matthew Williamson, the man can do no wrong! My NO’s for 2010…
Head to Toe Nautical Look – do you have a boat? a stripy top is PLENTY
Extreme Binge Drinking – strictly for Students and Chavs you see on those intervention programes on Channel 4
At Home Fake Tan – It never, ever turns out ’streak free no mess’ and i’ll end up stuck under a kaftan on the beach anyway to hide the orange shame!
Expensive Bikini’s – one sun & sea holiday they lose all stretch and colour, what a waste of money!
And Finally… a BIG NO to Summer Military… avoid the 90’s combat misery at all costs and camo? seriously, camo? NO NO NO… -
YES to blessings – I’m gonna try and count my lucky stars and be thankful for all the positives that come my way, no matter how small.
NO to stressings – I’m gonna try not sweat it about all that could go wrong (my worst habit) and instead just chill and take each day at a time.

Just found your blog and love it! I am saying YES to embracing myself, quirks, flaws, and all, courting adventure, cultivating whimsy, and nurturing my new marriage. I am saying NO to negativity, being afraid, the pressure to conform, and boredom. I love this necklace so much because I envision it as saying yes to all the things I listed, a sort of sidekick encouraging me to stay true to my list, a partner in crime.

This year, I’m saying YES to saying NO (I need to be more assertive, no more people kicking me around!), learning yoga, making my husband feel special every single day, giving any excess to charity instead of buying crap I don’t need, basically becoming more beautiful inside and out!
I’m saying NO to ugh smoking, procrastinating, and negativity!
-
And the winner in Nikki!
Congratulations on your new marriage and we love the things you are saying “no” to, just as much as we love the things you said “yes” to.
I’m sending you and email shortly to get your address! xxx
