    I have a new mantra:  F**k it.

Yep, I’ll say it again, F**k it. Now, I’m no advocate of the potty-mouth vocab, but being able to say F**k it when life is getting a li’l bit real life-y…well, it’s a total Sassy Minx revelation.
Saying F**k it is like a really amazing massage for the mind – it’s relaxing, releases tension and gives you permission to give up on the things that just aren’t working – it’s freakin’ awesome.

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve let myself get mad-stressed about finding a Pink Palace all of my own, I’ve been pitching like crazy for work and have been getting increasingly un-comfy at the sight of a bank statement through my letter box – life has been stressy and messy and quite frankly, not in the least bit sassy nor minx-like.

    Then I read F**k it.

Just sayin F**k it feels good – go on, say it – I dare you! Think of something you’re currently mad about – maybe you’ve argued with a gal-pal, or you’re annoyed that your boss hasn’t given you that promotion you know you deserve, feel all those feelings of anger and resentment in your belly, then say ‘F**k it.’ Say it again. And again and again. F**k it stops the struggle so you can finally do what you fancy; you get to ignore what everyone’s telling you and go your own way.
    Minxes, it’s amazing.

Author, John C. Parkin, my fave new member of the boy-hood, argues that saying F**k it is a spiritual act: That it’s the perfect western expression for the eastern ideas of letting go, giving up and finding real freedom by realising these things don’t matter so much (if at all).
This, g-friends, is the F**k it way.
It’s now officially the Lisa way too.

    Love. This. Book.
