This is the blogginz of my gorgeously glam, snail mail gal-pal, Miss Twist. Not only does she send the BEST mailage – thanks g-friend – she’s the Queen of cute de-voom ensembles, cupcake baking and her ability to create a half moon manicure will make you wish you had her on speed dial as your BFF.

Beauty item: Sunscreen. I slather it on daily, rain or shine.

Make-up item: Turquoise eyeshadow, don’t care which brand as long as it’s bright!

Current obsession: The art of Mary Blair, Mad Men

Fashion inspiration: Everyone in “I Dream of Jeannie”

Accessory: Vintage purses…my current one has big colorful straw flowers on it.

Designer: Betsey Johnson, always

Nail colour: My current favorite is a shimmery carnation pink with the half-moons painted shimmery white.

Era: 1920s – 1960s? With a heavy emphasis on the late 50s/early 60s

Jewellery: I have a two sided pendant necklace that I love. One side says “Love” and the other, in sort of a collage, says “Cake” “True Love” “Have it & eat it too.” I do love cake!

City: Paris! Being there is like being in a dream.

Food: Lemon cake

Book: Anything and everything by Francesca Lia Block, especially the Weetzie Bat books.

Magazine: I’m going to consult my 14 year old self and say CosmoGirl. But I don’t read magazines, really.

Music: Lounge, big band, ye ye, any glam singers from yesteryear.

Holiday destination: Hawaii! Ohhh I miss it.

Must-have item: Circle skirts, I adore them.

Celeb: Simon Doonan! Haha.

Icon: Louise Brooks…she’s a fascinating creature.

Boy crush: Gregory Peck! But that’s a man crush.

Girl crush: Zooey Deschanel, of course.

Activities: Baking cupcakes and cookies, bowling, taking photos of whatever I feel like, watching old movies, collecting hobbies (haha).
