I kid you not, I have but ONE necklace in my life, I am that picky. But this one I love. Alice is a legend, a sassy minx and a goddess.

I actually have a girl’s hotpink tutu which is in dire need of accessorizing so that it’s more wearable. It’s my favourite piece of clothing, but I can’t seem to get it out enough! A hotpink dodo with silver wings (I don’t wear gold since it looks atrocious on my skin) could be just the ticket!

Omgosh! I was soo excited to read this morning’s blog to see there is a competition running for Hoolala! I was only reading the blog yesterday and hoping the lovely sassyminx would run a competition and what do you know – its on there! Now how excited am I?
Now why do I deserve to win?
Because every girl needs a statement piece of jewellery to look good everyday. Hoolala offers something different and quirky and most of all it will go well with my red shoes – just like Alice x -
I think I need it because every girl needs a bird-themed accessory, and I don’t have any yet!

When I was younger there was a traveling theater troop that would come to town and put on a children’s production in a week. When they did Alice and Wonderland I was one of the unfortunate children who was lumped into the group of Dodos and forced to wear an unsightly costume…
I’ve paid my dues. -

I need this Hoolala goodness because I could rock that necklace up and down the hallowed halls of my university, as a reminder that all work and no play makes Cara a dull girl!

Oh, I think I would be the perfect girl for the DODO necklace, because my dearest friend Ally got married this Summer and here is the thing:
I couldn’t be there, because she and her now husband flew to Mauritius to get married at the beach!
They brought me back a little pink basket with a DODO on it…
The necklace would be a perfect reminder for the wedding of my dearest friend!
(And I am a HUGE pink lover!)
